1. Who we are

Nimbra is an application that lets you manage your schedule through natural language conversation. This policy explains what data we collect, how it's used, and how it's protected.

2. Data we collect

2.1 Account information

When you create an account, we collect:

Your email address
Your name (if provided)

2.2 Google Calendar access

If you choose to connect your Google Calendar account, we access:

The list of your calendar events (titles, dates, times, durations)
The ability to create, modify, and delete events on your behalf, based on the instructions you give to the chatbot

We only access your calendar to the extent necessary to provide the requested service (adding events, checking availability, giving advice on your schedule). We do not review or share the contents of your calendar for any purpose other than the one you're using the application for.

2.3 Conversation content

The messages you exchange with the chatbot are processed to:

Extract the information needed to manage your calendar (dates, times, event titles)
Generate relevant responses and advice about your schedule

These messages may be sent to a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini) for processing. See Section 4.

3. How we use your data

We use the collected data solely to:

Provide the core service of the application (conversational schedule management)
Maintain and improve the application's functionality
Keep your account secure

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your calendar or conversations with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.

4. Third-party providers

We use the following services to run the application:

Google Calendar API — to read and modify your calendar, based on the permissions you explicitly grant when connecting
Google Gemini (API) — to process the natural language of your messages and generate the chatbot's responses
Clerk — to manage account creation and secure sign-in
Render — to host the application and associated data

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the address listed in Section 1.

6. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:

Encryption of Google Calendar access tokens
No storage of plaintext passwords (handled by our authentication provider)
Restricted access to production data

No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and data
Revoke the application's access to your Google Calendar at any time, directly from your Google account's security settings

8. Children's privacy

This service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated periodically. Any significant changes will be communicated to users by email or through the application.
